NETWORK ARCHITECTURE

Uplink Connection

Optical port uplink: The optical port uplink of the GWS industrial POE switch is suitable for long-distance, high-speed data transmission scenarios. In different areas with long distances, the optical port can be connected through optical fiber, which can achieve low-loss, high-speed and stable data interaction with core network equipment. Optical signal transmission has strong anti-interference ability, which can ensure accurate transmission of data in complex electromagnetic environments and meet the scene requirements with strict requirements on data real-time and accuracy.


Network port uplink: Connect routers, servers and other devices. When the transmission distance is less than 100 meters, use a network cable to connect the network port uplink, which is low-cost and easy to deploy.


Downlink Connection

The downlink POE network port connects various front-end devices, such as cameras, wireless APs, sensors, etc. POE power supply technology allows one network cable to complete data transmission and power supply at the same time, reducing wiring complexity and improving system reliability.

Metal aluminum shell

The aluminum shell design provides better heat dissipation. In high temperature or poor heat dissipation conditions, the metal aluminum shell can quickly dissipate heat, ensuring that the switch can work stably in extreme temperature environments of -40-75 degrees. Whether in high-latitude cold areas or hot desert areas, the GWS industrial POE switch can continue to operate stably.

Lightning protection

The lightning protection level is as high as 6KV. In outdoor scenes prone to lightning strikes, it can effectively prevent lightning damage to equipment, reduce equipment failures caused by lightning strikes, and improve the reliability of network systems in severe weather.

Dual power redundant input

Dual power redundant input provides dual power protection for the switch. In scenarios with unstable power supply, when one power supply fails, the other power supply can seamlessly switch to continue supplying power, ensuring that the switch is not affected by power outages. In remote areas or areas with imperfect power infrastructure, dual power redundant input greatly improves the reliability of the network system and prevents data loss due to power outages.

Network port watchdog function

The GWS industrial POE switch of the network management model supports the network port watchdog function. This function is like a loyal "network guard" that monitors the working status of the network port in real time. When the network port becomes unresponsive or data transmission is interrupted due to network failure, software abnormality, etc., the network port watchdog function will detect the abnormality and automatically restart the relevant network port. The network connection can be restarted and restored without manual intervention, effectively reducing the problems of loss of monitoring images caused by camera freezes or black screen failures, and reducing the attendance rate of manual operation and maintenance of the monitoring system.

Models available

GWS industrial POE switches are available in two models: managed and unmanaged. The unmanaged model is plug-and-play and suitable for simple network environments. It is easy to install and configure, reduces the threshold and cost of use, and is suitable for small projects or scenarios with low requirements for network management. The managed model has powerful management functions, supports ring networking, and realizes link redundancy backup. When a link fails, the network can automatically and quickly switch to the backup link to ensure uninterrupted data transmission and improve the fault tolerance and reliability of the network.

The standard 35mm industrial rail installation method is adopted, which is convenient for quick installation and fixing in various cabinets or equipment, complies with installation specifications, saves space and is firmly installed.

APPLICATION CASES

1. Safe City

In the safe city construction project, a large number of high-definition surveillance cameras are deployed in public places such as city streets, squares, and parks.
